Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., on Thursday warned that the U.S. has “no operational control” of the border after a trip to Texas in which he and a number of other Republicans saw migrants streaming into the U.S. and being put on flights to other states.

“We have no operational control, no legal control, no law enforcement control of our border,” Good said in an interview with Fox News. “We are not enforcing our laws, we are not preventing people. This is willful and intentional on the part of this administration to facilitate the illegal entry into our country of tens of thousands, 180,000 in [the] month of May…some 700,000 this year, of the ones we’ve apprehended.”

You know that you should avoid riots and mobs at all costs…

But sometimes, you might be driving along, turn a corner, and suddenly find yourself in the middle of a “peaceful protest.”

I once heard someone say that if this happens, you should immediately find the nearest police officer to protect you.

But this might not be the wisest idea.

In a riot, the cops have their hands so full that they likely won’t be able to deal with you since they’re focus is on so many other things (like having bottles thrown at them.)

Besides, if you try to get protected by the police, you might find yourself in the middle of “cop baiting.”

What the heck is cop baiting?

Well, it’s when dirtbags in a mob harass and try to pick a fight with the cops. They hope to get the cops to overreact while a friend films it so they have some “injustice” to show on TV.

What’s more, Antifa and BLM teach their members this tactic so that they can record the moment the cops lose their cool…

But, of course, they don’t record all the other moments of them being lawless deadbeats.

This is why you always need to take the responsibility of your safety into your own hands. If you ever turn the corner and see a mob, put it in reverse or just keep moving no matter what.

“Movement saves lives” and if you freeze in the middle of a mob, bad things will happen.

I have found myself in the middle of a small mob and I was able to swerve through them and keep going even though they were trying to stop my car.

But there was absolutely no chance they were bringing my car to a dead stop.

Had someone tried to enter my car to pull me out and beat me, that is when my gun would have come out and that would have likely changed their minds.

Thankfully, this didn’t happen and I didn’t have to draw my gun, but it’s there as an option of last resort.

The bottom line is, always keep moving in mobs and riots and know ahead of time what you will do if you find yourself in one.

What rock band has the best drummer?

The band with the best drummer is the band with a drummer who is a perfect fit. Keith Moon was sloppy and never great a keeping an easy rhythm to follow. But everyone in the band knew it and that responsibility shifted to John Entwhistle on bass. But what Moon lacked was nothing compared to what he added. That was a percussion interpretation of each song and contagious energy. After Keith died, The Who never recreated the excitement that existed with Moon. So with all his deficiencies a lot of people consider Keith Moon the best because he was the perfect person for that band.

BUT!!!!!! Hold on. There are other drummers who fit the band perfectly. Ginger Baker also created drum parts that were a perfect compliment to Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce in Cream. John Bonham laid down such a powerful foundation in Led Zepplin, that after he died the band chose to end instead of going forward with someone else. Alex Van Halen is a strong drummer. He and his brother Edward work together constantly and the result is like a hand in a glove. A lot of what makes Van Halen work is that relationship.

So though I’m in the Keith Moon camp, there are obviously other excellent drummers that are perfect for their band they are in. It’s a subjective question of taste and the bands you focus on.

More than 100 protesters showed up at the home of a man who reportedly shouted racial slurs in front of a Mount Laurel, New Jersey, residence, the Washington Post reported.

The man, identified as 45-year-old Edward Cagney Mathews, was reportedly caught on camera calling his black neighbor the N-word and a "monkey" before challenging and taunting onlookers to come to his home.

The Post reported that Mathews gave out his address to the person filming him and suggested they visit him at his home.

"Bring whoever!" Mathews shouted after he told a neighbor to "learn your laws" and that the area is "not Africa."

"Whoever," according to the report, included more than 100 protesters who ended up at the man's residence in the coming days.

At least 19 people were murdered over the weekend and another 85 were wounded in shootings across the Chicagoland area. Those numbers are way up over the already high numbers seen in the previous weekend, which saw at least five killed and another 72 wounded.

As the Chicago Sun-Times noted, “both the number of fatal shootings and the number of shootings overall are highs for 2021.”
