Car sound system is very good. It's one of the reasons why I decided on that particular model, because of the quality sound system - i.e., the surround speakers. (Later models have Toyota-produced speakers which are really not as good.) CD, DVD (with the video showing on the inbuilt satnav screen - obviously not while one's driving, though!), bluetooth, plugged-in external source, etc., etc. Radio as well, of course.
Left side of the road, which is the right side of the road.
We also have the odd "hook turns" at some intersections, mostly in the CBD. (Cars have to get into the left lane, in the intersection, and wait with their indicators blinking right until the traffic light turns red, after which the cars turn right from that left lane. The cars wanting to go straight ahead must take the inner lanes, and cars wanting to turn left had best pray that the car in front of them does not want to turn right. If we assume that straight ahead is northbound trafafic, cars travelling west-east at one of these hook-turn intersections have to let the right-turning traffic in the intersection go first. Confused? Right.
Ouch. Disconnected internet would get my dander up. We're currently in the middle of switching over to NBN, but I've got to wait for electricians to get here tomorrow and do something with the blue and white wires...
