I honestly do think this world is more interesting with you in it, Ron. Attention Tello People: I need a local crib to park and plug-in one of these laundryday rocket ships. Mine is similar to the image.

Everybody knows how dreadfully slow my Crib Remodeling Project has been, and I've been doing without much of the Modern Candy I used to know when I was a Cityboy.
I was so getting close to finally having R. Payne in the arse finish all the electrical for my Hot Water & scratch, ya know...but in light of recent Horror Show news *, all of it is a-wash and more of the same is coming my way, know what I'm sayin'?

Here we go *again* with another Jolly-Go-Round of "Nevada DMV is Flocked in the Head " and the Corruption is pitifully plain to see.

   Locals told me that the DMV pulls this slick-felafeled number on LOTS of Taxpayers and such. ( I thot only once for me was all there was gonna be of it....) I got NEWZ for them!!
   See, the T-Man won't play this game by State Rules. My attitude is too volitile and racked with dissent and I just ain't getting punked by The Man NO MORE!. No. (Besides that: I'm ramping up with my "Sue The Cops" Courtroom Rodeo and Media-Blitz Jamboree.)

   Re-registering my Truck. Due on January 8th.
   I write a check for the required amount of $78.00. Dated and POSTMARKED on Janurary 5.
   On the Memo Line I entered my Plate: R TELLO.

   On January 21st, I get a letter from DMV, dated January 19, say...ing "Your vehicle registration renewal could not be processed for the following reason (s): 1. Your vehicle registration renewal was postmarked after the expiration date."

   My $78.00 check was attached to it.

   It furthermore said: "All documents must be returned within 10 days from the date of this letter, or additional fees may be assessed".

   10 days out from the 19th is January 29.
   I had a sticky cashflow issue that week. It was on the 30th I called DMV to ask for the upgraded price. I was quoted $96.41.

   On February 1, I wrote a check, dated and postmarked that day. On the Memo Line I entered my Plate: R TELLO.

   It rode out of town on Pony Express that afternoon.

   Shortly after February 15 I get a DMV letter, dated the 15th.
   FFS! They returned my check with a form letter, reading:
   "We are unable to process your request for a duplicate certificate of registration for the following reason (s): Please indicate what this check is for?
   Please complete your paperwork accordingly and return it to our office for processing."

   The check had a Bank Stamp on the back; it appeared to still be good. On the letter I wrote all the relevant truck data, right down to the VIN.
   And I sent it all off on Feb. 19th.

   Today, March 13th, I go to my PO Box where I got another DMV letter, dated March 9.
   I was (all along) expecting to receive my Tag Sticker and driving papers.
   This wazzint it. My $96.41 check was enclosed; the letter says:
   (the short version) : "We're not going do this. Your renewal request was postmarked after the expiration date".

   Now the ransom is $108.83. You do the math. Do ya see what's going on here?
   Flat-out GREED undercover of Total Incompetence. Grrrrr. Anything after Jan. 8th is over due! I was dealing with it, pen and check in hand...

   I'll be bringing this item to my new Lawyer's attention soon enuff.

   Oh yes, this latest letter also says: "Please note: you may not operate this vehicle until you receive your updated registration and decal by return mail."
   LOL....felafel THAT! I do what I gotta do, and I will NOT bow before these twisted, braindead criminal felafeltards.
   This is a total outrage. Unacceptable in My Sensible, Fair and Equitable World.
   This is deffo escalating into a Civil War Zone on crushed ice.

   Steve Allen I had a friend who worked at Heathrow Airport as a customs official and he told me that when a flight arrived and if they was bored(!) they would pick on someone and pull them in for a full search and questioning, (for any old reason), just because they could and there was nothing that the poor bastard could say or do about it. He (my friend) quit the job because as he said he just couldn't carry on like that. Makes you wonder what else these people can do with our lives and how they can mess it up, just for fun.

Isn't it possible to Physically WALK into your DMV office. here in Illinois we have more than one office. and many Currency Exchanges also provide renewal services. perhaps it would have been wiser to go in person. now you will have legal fees also. just my opinion darlin. xxoo

   On or about 2-1-11, past the 10-day limit from date of letter, I telephoned DMV for the new, higher rate; was quoted $96.41.

   I filled out check #1498 for $96.41 * Dated 2-1-11
   On the Memo Line: R TELLO
   Postmarked and mailed same day.

   Date unknown, Received DMV letter, dated 2-15-11. Rubber Stamped "MAR 03 2011 VALIDATED"

   Check #1498 was enclosed. Letter asks me what the check is for.
   [ That is when this became Weapons-Grade annoying ! ]

   On the letter I wrote: "Vehicle Registration, 98 Ford Ranger, R TELLO, and
   VIN: 1BTYR1XXXXPA92091 "

   Re-mailed letter & check on or about the next day, date unknown.

   On Sunday, 3-13-11, I received check #1498 enclosed with DMV letter dated 3-09-11.
   Letter says I'm not getting The Goods; my "check was postmarked after the expiration date".
   It shows a new, higher price of $108.83.

   I AM DISPUTING ALL OF THIS!!! NOW I AM DEFCON 3 - ANNOYED! THIS IS
   NOT DOING GOOD BUSINESS WITH A GOVERNMENT SPONSORED "PUBLIC
   SERVICE AGENCY" AND THIS IS CRAP!!!

   MY EVIDENCE PROVES THE POSTMARK ON MY FIRST CHECK WAS UNDER
   THE EXPIRATION DATE. I EXPERIENCED LENGTHY DELAYS WITH THE MAIL,
   WAITING FOR MY REGISTRATION STICKER / DOCUMENTS TO ARRIVE AT A REASONABLE TIME AFTER MY FIRST CHECK WAS SENT. MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REGISTERED FOR 2 MONTHS NOW, AND THIS HAS ESCALATED TO HEART ATTACK- INDUCING PROPORTION !!!
   I AM ABLE AND WILLING TO PAY THE ORIGINAL FEE OF $78.00.

   May we settle this sooner rather than later? Or shall I consult with an Attorney?

I rushed after work to the state farm ins guy. Got my liability on the truck then got it smogged and then like you wrote my money order for 122 because I was past the 99 dollar date by 2 days.. but I'm suspecting I will get my tags soon hang in there and fight the good fight Tello....
