Nope.

My bet is on web crawlers.  Since content is getting continuously updated, it's probably them coming back to keeps tabs on this "hot" thread.  So you're just giving search engines something to index.

That would be the phrase I would use in response if you had specifically made comment about a particular topic.

The "When I think about it" phrase is more appropriate for something a bit more indirect.

In this case, you could get away with either.

Strange, eh?

It's actually a public holiday here in Australia and in New Zealand: ANZAC Day.  There are dawn services of remembrance all across the country as well as in other parts of the world, especially Gallipoli - where it all started.  It's the equivalent of your Veteran's Day.

How do you clean an electric heating pad?
Machine-wash the pad in warm water on gentle cycle; tumble dry on medium heat. Remove from the dryer. The pad may also be hand-washed in warm water and line dried.

Heated mattress pads ensure a warm bed at night. Heat coils, or wires, woven into the blanket warm up when you plug the pad into an outlet and turn it on. Proper washing methods take into account the delicate nature of these wires, since a damaged wire poses an electrical danger to the home and renders the pad useless. Fortunately, electric mattress pads are still machine washable, so it takes minimal effort to clean them for future use. Do it wrong, you are TOAST and your whole flocking house burns to the ground. Warm up to that ya Blighters!

13 Films With A Powerful Pro-Choice Message
April 22nd, 2022

The choice to murder your own offspring for convenience is a fundamental human right. Without choice, you might as well be, like, a handmaid in The Handmaid's Tale! Fortunately, Hollywood is dedicated to producing hundreds of pro-choice films every year to preach the pro-choice message and protect this right for all!

Here are some of the most notable:

1) It – A reincarnated abortion doctor dressed as a clown performs late-term abortions on the neighborhood kids. Iconic!

2) Halloween – Michael Myers has every right to go stabbing. He was born this way.

3) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – A progressive depiction of a non-traditional family that chooses who they want to eat without apology. Inspiring!

4) A Nightmare on Elm Street – Freddy Krueger has long been one of Planned Parenthood's most outspoken supporters.

5) Scream – Teens killing people!

6) The Lord of the Flies – Kids killing people!

7) The Silence of the Lambs – Dr. Lecter is a super-smart guy who wrote peer-reviewed papers so his stance on baby murder is probably correct.

8) The Omen – A powerful pro-choice film in which the villain is the kid.

9) Look Who's Talking, Too! – You'll want to commit murder after watching this movie.

10) Avengers: Infinity War – With one snap, Thanos fulfilled Planned Parenthood's vision.

11) Schindler's List – A man named Hitler lived his truth, followed his heart, and exercised his right to choose. Margaret Sanger would be so proud.

12) A Quiet Place – Parents go to great lengths to protect their children no matter how hard or inconvenient. Wait, how'd that get in here? Scratch this one.

13) Friday the 13th: Part I – A relentless killer who slays without remorse, Jason's mother is the ultimate pro-choice hero.

Chris Wallace Now Regretting Getting CNN+ Tramp Stamp
April 22nd, 2022

U.S.—Chris Wallace’s name started trending along with search terms "unemployed" and "learn to code" when CNN+ shut down this week, but Wallace has voiced a more troubling concern than potential joblessness: his recently-acquired CNN+ tattoo on his lower back.

“I went all-in on CNN after ditching Fox, but now I’m starting to have second thoughts,” Wallace said in an interview with a smirking Peter Doocy, wincing as he touched the still-tender skin just above his buttocks. “I was sure CNN+ was going to be a hit and that I would soar to new heights of relevance! How could this happen?”

Sources confirmed that Wallace is looking into tattoo removal services, but has been told a full removal will be difficult as he got the tattoo in solid black ink. He has also asked for his old job back at Fox but was turned down as Fox has a strict policy against anchors having CNN+ lower-back tattoos. The out-of-work newsman is now hoping for a future career on Dancing With The Stars or The Masked Singer.

At publishing time, Congressman Kevin McCarthy was a few offices over, reportedly looking into tattoo removal services for his “Trump Stamp.”

The Babylon Bee Stands In Solidarity With Its Fellow Canceled Satire Outlet CNN+
April 22nd, 2022

After investing hundreds of millions of dollars CNN finally unveiled its new satire site CNN+. Unfortunately, only 3 weeks later CNN+ has been canceled—prematurely ending what was certain to be one of the funniest sites ever made. This sort of cancel culture censorship has been targeting comedians for too long, and it must stop.

This is why The Babylon Bee has decided to formally take a stand beside our fellow satire site, CNN+. We too know exactly what it feels like to be suddenly canceled for the simple crime of bringing laughter to the world. When we heard CNN+ wasn’t being canceled for another sex scandal we were shocked, but once we heard that comedy was blatantly being censored again we were outraged.

“Satire writers have to stick together,” said The Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon. “That’s why we are calling for CNN+ to be reinstated immediately. We hereby announce that CNN+ has our full support and we are willing to do whatever is necessary to restore their comedy streaming service. It just goes to show—no matter how wacky and unbelievable your fake news articles are, there are always people who want to shut that down.”

Sources claim that only 10,000 people were willing to watch CNN+, but we believe those 10,000 deserve to be able to continue to laugh at CNN’s delightful brand of comedy.

So we invite you to stand with us and refuse to let comedy be silenced. If you ever want to see hilarious skits or articles about how good of a job Biden is doing, or how competent and relatable Kamala is—then subscribe to The Babylon Bee and help us fight for CNN+ today!

Joe Rogan Mocks Brian Stelter And ‘CNN Minus’ After Spectacular Demise Of CNN+
APRIL 25, 2022

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan took another swing at one of his favorite punching bags – CNN’s Brian Stelter – after anchor Brian Stelter announced the left-wing company’s failed streaming service CNN+ would be shuttered after just over four weeks.

The New York Times reported on the shutdown, noting that CNN had poured “tens of millions of dollars” into an effort that was launched and celebrated as “an historic day” for the network on March 29th.

The Political Insider wrote in mid-April that CNN+ was struggling to attract more than 10,000 viewers per day and had reportedly caused Chris Wallace to suffer from “daily breakdowns.”

The Times called the shutdown “an ignominious end” to the effort.

Rogan, in an interview with British author Douglas Murray, couldn’t help but poke fun at CNN and their media monitor, Stelter.

Murray began the conversation by noting he doesn’t like to make fun of anybody’s physical appearance as a rule but … he then made an exception for Stelter who he surmised had to be about 56-years-old.

Stelter in reality is 36-years of age.

Murray noted that he “couldn’t stop laughing” about that fact and added, “everything about the guy is strange.”

“His pattern of communication is so strange,” Rogan interjected. “It’s like, do you listen to other people? They talk very differently from you.”

Murray and Rogan eventually delved into the demise of CNN+, laughing at the effort put forth by the network.

“They spent $300 million dollars and got 10,000 subscribers,” Rogan said. “Imagine the hubris of thinking that something people don’t want for free, you’re gonna charge money for it.”

CNN Minus
Brian Stelter may have the body of a young man, but his mind seems to have betrayed him in the wake of the CNN+ debacle.

Stelter claimed that despite the failure of the streaming service to make it more than just a few weeks, it was really “too early to know” if CNN+ “was a success or a failure.”

Son, CNN+ was a failure long before it even launched because it was coming from a network that has been failing and flailing ever since Donald Trump left office.

Joe Rogan going after ‘CNN Minus’ might seem like punching down, but the podcast king has been relentlessly mocking the network and Stelter for quite some time.

Rogan ridiculed CNN this past summer for their ratings during the post-Trump era and called Stelter’s show out in particular, saying it’s “f***ing terrible.”

He went on to blast Stelter for fawning over White House Press Secretary Jan Psaki during an especially embarrassing interview around that time.

“How about Brian Stelter talking to the press secretary, ‘What are we doing wrong? What are we doing wrong?’” critiqued Rogan. “Like, hey motherf***er, you’re supposed to be a journalist.”

Rogan would later call Don Lemon a “dumb motherf*****” after the CNN anchor doubled down on criticism of him for using ivermectin.

And in reality, that’s being kind.

In his interview with Murray, Rogan also took a jab at CNN’s Jake Tapper, saying “he seems like a great guy,” but when it comes to CNN+, “I feel like I don’t have to pay for his book club.”

Military Suicides Skyrocket
Apr 25, 2022

Ten sailors have committed suicide while assigned to a single Navy ship over the last 10 months. Military suicides have skyrocketed since COVID arrived and have increased even more under Joe Biden’s unlawful shot mandates. We began our legal fight with the administration to save religious freedom. Now, we are fighting to save the lives of service members! Read on. — Mat

On the morning of April 11, the U.S. Navy Captain’s voice boomed over the nuclear carrier U.S.S. George Washington’s intercom system. He announced that two more crew members had taken their lives over the weekend. Four days later, yet another sailor aboard the ship took his own life.

In just the last 10 months, 10 sailors aboard the U.S.S. George Washington have committed suicide.

The U.S. military, already plagued by an increase in active-duty suicides, reported a heartbreaking 16% increase in suicides in 2020, according to the Department of Defense (DOD) 2020 Annual Suicide Report. That’s the highest number of active-duty suicides in at least five years.

Sadly, Liberty Counsel has direct knowledge of suicides related to the pressure service members face from the abusive DOD shot mandates.

Last week, we filed a declaration in Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin revealing shocking evidence of suicides among military members due to the Biden shot mandate. A platoon mate of Plaintiff Lance Corporal 2 of the U.S. Marine Corps committed suicide just before Christmas. A military counselor informed the platoon that the suicide was a result of the pressure and the punishment this Marine faced for his religious objection to the shots.

Jonathan*, one of our Plaintiffs and a platoon mate of the Marine who took his life, said “the heavy-handed COVID shot separation policy now has killed more Marines than has the actual COVID-19 sickness.”

Coast Guard First Class Petty Officer Don* committed suicide in February. Chaplain Alejandro*, who has been counseling Don’s widow (who is also an active-duty Coast Guard member), said that the “punitive nature of their looming discharges” for refusing the shot drove Don to kill himself.

In March, I wrote you regarding testimony from Chaplain Timothy, in which he said service members are “anguished at the thought of a choice between the COVID shot and their deeply-held, sincere religious beliefs that receiving the COVID shot would be a grave sin.”

Yet Joe Biden’s Department of Defense will not allow these service members to keep serving, nor will the DOD release them from service. Instead, the DOD is leaving religious accommodation seekers “stuck,” forcing them into isolation and punishment. The DOD is even leaving some service members stuck in foreign countries, unless they take the jab.

The Costs of War Project, which was started in 2010 by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, found that some service members felt they would lose their sense of identity by being discharged early, and they “would do anything to avoid leaving the military.”

The plaintiffs in our massive lawsuit against the Biden administration say the suicide rate will continue to grow.

THESE DEATHS ARE AVOIDABLE ...

Liberty Counsel has received more than 1,000 legal assistance requests from service members from all military branches. Of those members, more than 334 have received final denials of their Religious Accommodation Request (RAR) appeals. Multiple service members with pending RARs requested “voluntary” separation, but they have been denied, even after their respective commands instructed them to apply for such separation.

Liberty Counsel is seeking class certification in Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin to protect members of all the military branches. Last Thursday, we received another preliminary injunction on behalf of a Captain in the Marine Corps. We also filed a lengthy legal argument urging Judge Merryday to issue a class-wide injunction to protect service members of all six branches.

The shot mandate is inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on America’s finest members of the military. This abuse must end. Even one life ending in suicide is one too many.

We cannot defend religious freedom without YOU, a generous Liberty Counsel supporter. If you haven’t done so, please consider committing to a recurring monthly gift now and have YOUR IMPACT DOUBLED by a generous Challenge Grant.

15-year-old boy in DC arrested for allegedly committing 3 armed robberies in 8 minutes
April 25, 2022

Police in Washington, D.C., have arrested a 15-year-old boy who they say is responsible for going on a violent and extremely rapid crime spree in the nation's capital earlier this year.

The juvenile male, who has not been identified by law enforcement on account of his age, is suspected of committing three armed robberies — including a carjacking — in roughly eight minutes in January.

In a news release, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department claimed the boy didn't act alone and that detectives are still searching for additional suspects in the crime spree.

In each of the three incidents, the gang of suspected offenders approached victims brandishing handguns and threatening injury before making off with several personal items, which included four iPhones and a Hyundai Sonata sedan.

After committing the first two robberies, the suspects fled the scene and quickly moved on to commit another armed robbery.

According to police, the crimes took place on Jan. 23. The first occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. near 14th and T Street, Northwest; the second at 1:24 p.m. on the 1800 block of 10th Street, Northwest; and the third at 1:28 p.m. on the 1500 block of 8th Street, Northwest.

The juvenile male from southeast D.C. was reportedly arrested and taken into custody on Thursday, April 21. It was not immediately clear what charges he would face.

The news comes as juvenile crimes continue to plague Washington, D.C., and many other communities around the country.

In the nation's capital, youth carjackings in particular have been on the rise over the last year.

Last March, a botched carjacking that resulted in the gruesome death of an elderly Uber Eats driver drew national headlines after it was discovered that the culprits were a 13-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl.

The girls reportedly used at least one stun gun in attempt to seize the car. They struggled with the victim, 66-year-old Mohammad Anwar, swerving through the streets, but eventually struck a curb, sending Anwar flying from the vehicle. The man's death was caught on video.

At least on this case, it appears that law enforcement is hoping to clamp down on juvenile perpetrators of violent crimes.

Police have requested the public's help in identifying additional suspects in the January armed robbery incidents and are offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
