NEWS FLASH
The drummer formerly known as "Tello" (and still known as "Tello", actually) has just started a new and promising line of business: Children's Dinkies!
The gruff and bearded character beloved throughout the wilds of Montello gives small children (especially those with sticky fingers from lollypops and sweets) ten-minute rides on his little green bike thingy. The ride includes a tour throughout DrumWorld, where Tello's incredible drum kit is on permanent display.
Parents apparently are lining up to get their kids booked on this innovative ride. "It's just like having Father Christmas there to babysit my little Harold", enthused one permed housewife. "Stop it, Harold, stop it! No, Harold, do NOT eat that snail. NO, Harold, you are not allowed to set fire to that car. NO, Harold, no, no!"
Tello finds children such as little Harold surprisingly easy to manage. "Word: respect!" he said loudly to the child, who continued behaving like a little brat. But upon being added to the incredibly huge drum kit as an extra drum, and being whacked repeatedly by drumsticks, little Harold seems to have got the message. At least he was quite docile when Tello finally took him on his ride, and Harold's mum is pleased as punch.
You can book your Children's Dinkies ride with Tello now. Just look for the little green bike.
