"I wanna tell a story. I watch a lot of old shows and movies. One show I've been binging lately is "One Step Beyond". I found this one particular episode, "Earthquake" (S2E17) which deals with a man who has a premonition about the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake [1].

I too had a premonition 6 hours before The 1994 Northridge Earthquake came to town.[2]. I was situated at the Trailer Park in Topanga Canyon, at a neighbor's patio. A jolly game of chess was concluding and the guests were leaving.

I was in the lounge chair enjoying a decent buzz, when POW! The Lords of Disaster spoke to me, saying "Woe dude, an earthquake shall come upon this land before sunrise, and it's gonna be a Whammer Jammer".

I took the message very seriously, for it was strong and unusual.

I thought "Do I tell someone, maybe warn 911? Or shall I remain silent and let the earth play out its own course?"

Two issues to consider.
1, if I called 911 and the quake did not come, I would be rounded up as a Crank.
2, if I called and then it did happen, I WOULD BE BLAMED FOR IT.

Soon after, I was hired on a repair crew near the Northridge Meadows Apartments [3].

I live with this story everyday.

These five lies help the media filter away the truth

As the election approaches you can hopefully see the blatant the illusion of an objective media provided to you by the US corptocracy. When they tell you not to "do your own research," they are telling you not to read deeply and widely, which is the gateway to knowledge. They want you to be like the masses, who do not want to wake up, or to learn, so that the elites can reap the benefits of propagandizing all news.

The controlled masses are hostile toward reality. They want no discomfort of thought. They are at peace with being unaware of their thought regimentation.

"Social media" is currently the most popular business model used to propagandize via the media. The mainstream media is still the most prominent  and ubiquitous, however, to the point that people don't notice the constant lies anymore. This is as intended.

In the 1988 book Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media, contrarians Noam Chomsky and Edward S. Herman outlined the problems with mass media and how the business model inevitably leads to propagandized content.

Chomsky and Herman outlined five filters for editorial bias in seeking to explain how government and corporate interests retain control of what is and isn't reported as "the news":

First Filter – Size, Ownership and Profit Orientation Of The Mass Media: The authors argue that the mainstream media, largely owned by a handful of massive corporations that also do business in other markets, is used often to drive profits under the guise of public information.

Thus, it is a corporate propaganda tool. Also, they argue that dependence on government for general policy support — business taxes, interest rates, labor policies, and enforcement and no enforcement of the antitrust laws — along with the need of cooperation from members of government with reporters on the frontlines, leads to an alliance of easily corruptible entities. Thus, government propaganda.

Second Filter – The Advertising License To Do Business: "Advertisers will want, more generally, to avoid programs with serious complexities and disturbing controversies that interfere with the 'buying mood.' They seek programs that will lightly entertain and thus fit in with the spirit of the primary purpose of program purchases — the dissemination of a selling message."

Third Filter – Sourcing Mass-Media News: Mass media need a steady and constant flow of reliable and credible information. They have not the time to be everywhere at once, so they congregate around political and corporate institutions whose mere status and prestige lend credence to their information. They write: "The mass media are drawn into a symbiotic relationship with powerful sources of information by economic necessity and reciprocity of interest."

Fourth Filter – Flak And The Enforcers: Backlash from people in positions of power keep mainstream media toeing the line. The authors write, "'Flak' refers to negative responses to a media statement or program. It may take the form of letters, telegrams, phone calls, petitions, lawsuits, speeches and bills before Congress, and other modes of complaint, threat, and punitive action. It may be organized centrally or locally, or it may consist of the entirely independent actions of individuals."

Fifth Filter – Anticommunism and Terror As A Control Mechanism: Fear of a faceless enemy threatening Americans' way of life keeps people coming back for more information. It also provides the state a sound platform upon which to build liberty-assaulting initiatives in the name of safety.

Even if you have never even heard of Chomsky or Herman you will now be able to recognize the ways the media filters out the truth so that what remains is propaganda. You can now set yourself apart from those Americans who believe they have a reliable source of information in the mainstream media and who also scoff at the idea of countries that have state-controlled media.

The more you read alternative sources of information, the more knowledge you have for your mental computer to process. The result is that you have a superior advantage in evaluating reality and in life.

Bureaucrat Allegedly Threatens To Arrest Helicopter Pilot For Flying Unauthorized Rescue Flights In North Carolina

A fire official allegedly threatened to arrest a South Carolina helicopter pilot who flew to Lake Lure, North Carolina, on Saturday morning to help rescue stranded Hurricane Helene victims, according to a report.

Jordan Seidhom and his son, Landon, were rescuing stranded Hurricane Helene victims in their private aircraft after the storm left much of Western North Carolina decimated, according to Queen City News. Despite previous successful rescues a day prior, and receiving approval from other local officials and volunteer firefighters, one official interrupted Seidhom’s efforts Sunday, and threatened to arrest him if he continued his operation, the outlet reported.

The pair reportedly rescued four individuals Saturday before spending the night in recliners at a local airport’s pilot lounge. They were determined to continue their recuse efforts and help a stranded couple they saw from the helicopter Sunday morning, however the plan took a turn for the worse, according to the outlet.

“Once we landed where emergency personnel were, I was met by a fire chief or maybe a captain, and he asked me who I was, who I was with, just a local volunteer,” Seidhom told Queen City News.

The fire official then “shut down the whole operation” and threatened to have Seidhom arrested if he continued his recovery efforts, Seidhom alleged.

“I explained to him that I left my son on the side of the mountain, and I left another victim. I was going to go back and bring them, it was already set up for the landing spot and then I would get out of this area. He told me I wasn’t going back up the mountain to get them, I was going to leave them there,” Seidhom told the outlet.

“I’m going back and getting my copilot. He said, ‘If you turn around and go back up the mountain, you’re going to be arrested.’ I said, ‘Well, sir, I’m going back to get my copilot, I don’t know what to tell you.'”

Bureaucracy is getting people killed. A helicopter pilot out of South Carolina who volunteered his support to help the flood-ravaged residents of NC has been threatened with arrest if he continues his rescue missions.

A half hour later, a Temporary Flight Restriction had been instated over the Lake Lure area Seidhom was patrolling, according to the outlet. Seidhom had already reloaded his aircraft with supplies to continue his rescue mission, however officials eventually lifted the restriction Monday, the outlet reported.
